July 11 - MiSci Museum
Design and build a shock-absorbing system that will protect two marshmallow "astronauts" when they
land. Test, evaluate and redesign just like a NASA engineer!
July 18 - Rockets Rock!
Make Your Own Rocket and Watch it Soar
Participants will learn about rockets and what
makes them fly and will try it out by making

How do birds fly? Why can’t we? Can a bubble fly in outer space?
What’s the best shape for a wing?
In this fun, hands-on program, kids will use feathers, paper, balloons, and bubbles
to learn about concepts of flight.
Students will design their own gliders and mini-helicopters
to explore the properties of things that fly.
August 1 - Out of this World Fun With
Falon Macek & The Shooting Stars Dance Troupe
Falon and her dance troupe will perform and lead the kids in a dance.
Dancing with the Troupe is a great way to feel like a star yourself!

August 8 - Seeing Stars (and painting them too!)
Galaxy Rock Painting
Bring a special rock that you pick out and paint it with the
colors you choose. Paint stars, moons, the Sun or anything you'd like -
the sky's the limit!
August 15 - To the Moon and Back Pizza Party
Participate in a Treasure Hunt - back by popular demand!
To be followed by a pizza party celebrating the last day of the program
